Archiving & Preservation

The Proceedings of Science and Nature Research is committed to the long-term digital preservation of its published content, to ensure continued access to the scholarly record even in the event the journal or its host platform ceases to operate.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PLN)

PSNR's content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PLN), a distributed digital preservation service built on LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) technology. Once enabled, PKP PLN automatically harvests and stores copies of the journal's published content across a distributed network of libraries, ensuring that permanent, citable copies remain accessible independent of this website.

Local Backups

In addition to PKP PLN, the journal's content and underlying database are preserved through the standard backup procedures of the Open Journal Systems platform and its hosting infrastructure.

Readers, libraries, and indexing services are encouraged to contact the editorial office for further information about the journal's archiving arrangements.
